DAVID L. BROWN and MAURICE G. WALTON

Active in both the business and legal communities in Hood County, David L. Brown is co-owner and President of Central Texas Title Company as well as serving as a partner in the law firm. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a law degree from the South Texas College of Law in Houston. He is board-certified in commercial real estate law and in residential real estate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His past experience includes serving as an officer in the U.S. Army, as an escrow officer and attorney in the Fort Worth Office of Stewart Title Company, and as an instructor in real estate and business-related subjects at both the University of Texas at Arlington and at Tarrant County Junior College. David specializes in real estate and general business law.

Maurice C. Walton graduated from Baylor University and received his law degree from the Baylor School of Law. His extensive experience includes serving as a briefing attorney for the Austin Court of Appeals before entering private law practice in Waco in 1976. From 1978 through 1981, Maurice practiced law in Granbury. After working for several years as Associate General Counsel for the Baptist Foundation of Texas in Dallas, Maurice returned to Granbury in 1985. Maurice now practices primarily in estate planning and probate areas of the law.
